Review: Elf Eye Lid Primer

So I went to Target to buy some makeup and I found myself wandering to the Elf Section. Well.... I bought six brushes,an eyeliner and a primer. Okay lets get into the review! :)

I bought this primer in the color sheer and it is a nude color after it is blended out. I use the applicator to apply a little in the center of my lid. It cancels out any redness and drys quickly. I has a very dry feeling at first but once it is blended it is ready to stick to my eye shadow. I would compare this to the Urban Decay primer because you only need small amount. For a dollar this a great primer for any beginner or seasoned pro!

Review: Fuzzy Coat by Sally Hansen

So this is the first year I can wear nail polish to school which is ubber cool! I have been into the darker colors for fall like dark purples and dark pinks. I heard about Fuzzy Coat from Sally Hansen which is a sweater for your nails. Surprisingly it came out I think in May and my CVS was out because I bought the last one. The cashier said they might not order any more :( Anyways let us get to the review.

That is the color I got which is Tight Knit.

Now I am really going to start. So I never look at any reviews before I buy anything that I plan on reviewing because I don't want it to influence my decision. So it reminds me of a top coat when I first apply it because it is very shiny but after it drys it is no longer shiny. One coat has so many 'fuzzies' it is not even funny. Two coats covers the nails and three is CRAZY. After it drys I can feel the pieces of 'fuzzies' on my nails but they dont come off. It pretty cool. Removal with one coat seems easy but many coats seems a little harder.

Review:Revlon Just Kissable Balm Stain

Hey Beauitful! So I really want to build up a great blog and I want to be a real blogger if you know what I mean. It would make my year if you commented a review you wanted to see. Anyways let's get started on the review.

 So I bought my lip stain at CVS for 7.99$. I got mine in the color LOVESICK. This is a warm pink shade that is very pigmented color. WHEN I wear this shade to school I usual but I apply a little in the center of my lips and blend out with my finger. I like how you can twist the bottom to get more product and the balm tip is ALWAYS sharp and pointy. I literally loathe the smell of this product though because it is minty and smells like gum and smoke at times. They have a wide range of colors that would look good on any skin tone and have many great colors for all seasons but LOVESICK is great for winter and fall!

How To Save Money on Makeup! $$$$$$

Hey everyone! So today I thought I would share a new type of post that is VERY helpful to all ages! HOW TO SAVE MONEY ON MAKEUP! Lets face it, we all want to save money on things we love sooo why not save on makeup! Okay so I have 3 tips to save money on makeup but if you want a post on how to make money as a middle or high school -er leave me a comment down below! Lets dive into this! :)

1) Membership Clubs

So you may be part of the UOC (aka Ulta Obsession Club). But are you apart of there REWARD club? Yup that's right you can shop at Ulta and get rewarded for it. Now you may be saying that it does not save you money.....you are half right. It allows you to build points and then buy a perfume or a high end mascara every quarter. This means that you are part of the UOC. This means you shop there often. lol

2) Coupons

Okay know this is the ticket to saving money on drugstore makeup. I use sites like www.coupons.com or redplum.com to find the best coupons. If you have a local Target you can look at there coupons too! If you have a Publix near by you may also use those coupons there! Now if you have a Revlon Lip butter Target and www.coupons.com coupon you can combine them to save double. So if you want to save money on high end makeup I got you covered. Ulta often offers 3.50 off of $10.00. Not bad :) 

3) Sale

If you like drugstore makeup go to Ulta and look at there clearance. My Ulta has OPI nail polishes for over half off! WOW!! If you are a super savy person then you can double the coupon if you spend $10 you save $3.50! If you like high-end makeup you can go on Sephora.com and look at there sale items. At one point the Hello Kitty Eye Liners were $5.00!!! Okay double WOW!!!!!

Review:Revlon Nail Polish

So I love nail polish;let's face it most girls do! :) It is fall time and I need fall colors and love and quality polish. I get mine from the drugstore for $4.99! WOW! This polish can be found in colors ranging from black to bright purple! I feel that this polish is the 'underdog' polish because I don't hear many people talk about this polish :( let's go ahead and get started 

We have all had those polishes;you know the runny polishes with the huge brush? This polish is not one of those polishes. I like to use the 3 step method when painting my nails. I do one in the middle,one on the side and one on the other side of my nail. My nail bed is very strong and healthy but if you have dry or brittle nails this(I feel) strengthens your nails. I have a dark gray polish although and it is very pigmented. That is great!....except when you go to remove the polish. It gets in my nail bed and under my nails and leaves them looking very dirty. BTW it is in the color Iconic. I have 3 of these polishes because they are easy to find and buy and they are cheap! I usually use two coats of the color and then add a top coat from Sally Hansen(comment if you want a review on those polishes) The polish lasts for about 5-7 days depending on what you are doing. i.e. Swimming,opening heavy objects

Review: Covergirl LashBlash Fusion Mascara

This was my first ever mascara which entered me into the crazy makeup world :) So I first got a brown mascara so it was not as harsh but now I get black or brownish black. So this comes in a waterproof and regular version (aka purple=regular,green=waterproof) I have the regular one I have used this mascara for a couple of months now. I have CLEAR understanding if I like this mascara or not.

  So this mascara first off is a DRY formula....not my first choice. At first I only put on one coat of mascara. It looked VERY natural so I decided to add another. WORST IDEA EVER! :( It was SUPER clumpy and added no volume to my lashes :( My lashes did not look evenly coated rather it looked heavy coated in one part of my eye. I gave this mascara to my mom how ever and she loves it! She uses it as a 'primer' for her lashes. Then she uses other mascara to add the lengthy and volume. If you want to do this put 1 coat of this on and then add my favorite mascara The Falsies or Clinque High Impact Mascara.

Review:Maybelline Falsies Mascara

I have been wanting to try a new mascara from the drugstore for a while. As you know I love Maybelline mascaras  because they are cheap and awesome. I bought mine for $5.89! They have very black.black drama and blackest black. I got very black. I had high hopes for this mascara so lets get started.

So this brush is curved and the brush is very thick and wide. I was watching a video on YOUTUBE on how to get massive lashes. It used Falsies Mascara! So I will tell you about how to apply this mascara. For top lashes take the brush and make the wands curve point down so it looks like a upside down U. Apply as many times as you wish because it is a wet formula. Then flip the brush and apply a nice coat to your bottom lashes. Then take the brush on it side and coat your lashes again. I really like that the mascara has a wet formula rather than and dry formula.

How to Curl Your Hair with no heat!

Okay so the other day I was reading INSTYLEHAIR and I read how the stars curl their hair. Okay so lets get started.


Step 1

Shower as normal so wash hour hair of course.

Step 2

Comb your hair out

Step 3

If you want tight curls, take small pieces of hair and wrap the piece around your two fingers and then use 2 bobby pins to pin to your head. For looser curls take large pieces and wrap them around your fingers and pin them to your head with 3 bobby pins.

Step 4

Then do the rest of your head with Step 3.


Step 5

Have them in for at least 7 hours but I usually do it overnight!

Step 6

Take out pin coils in the morning but dont brush the curls!


Step 7

Hair spray the curls and enjoy your awesome curls!

Great Nail Polish by Wet and Wild

I wanted to do my nails the other day and wanted a cheap but nice nail polish. I went to CVS and found Spolied polish by Wet and Wild. They have so many nice colors! I love there colors for fall!

I found them on an end cap for $2.00 and I was in love! I saw the Essie colors and I actually went to the Spolied colors! They had Glitter polishes to. They remind me of the Revlon Moon Art. The colors are really gorgeous. For $2.00 is comes with a lot of polish. The only problem I found was that the brush was very large for my nail bed.

PS- Look at the bottom for the cooler polishes :)

Review:Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

 

I am doing a review on the Great Lash mascara by Maybelline. Did you know that 1 tube is sold every 2 seconds? For many this has been a staple in there makeup bag or there mother's makeup bag. This is a mascara that has been around for about 45 years! Right now you can buy colored mascara for a low price of $7.00. I found mine for an incredible price for $5.49. They also had a few other Maybelline mascaras for the same price.

The brush is a very short brush compared to other Maybelline mascaras and just any mascara. So this this brush reminds of a spiral staircase. It picks up a lot of products and that can be an OK thing. So I just wipe the bottom of the brush on the bottle. The tube gets messy so I dont like that. Mine did not really have a smell but my moms did have a musky mascara scent. I think after a month it starts to smell like that. This mascara lasts a very long time. I use this a top coat on the tip of my lashes and it works really good. I find that one eye clumps on me but the other eye looks really good. I like to use this on my bottom lashes because they look like spider lashes. I like long crazy lashes :)

Yes to Blueberries Moisturizer

Hi my friends! So I was at my drugstore and I found the Yes to Blueberries Moisturizer. It is a very popular brand and I happen to love this brand. So lets start with the review.

So I picked this up on sale for $14.00 but it is retailed at $20.00. You only need a little pump and you are good to go! So at first it smells like cinnamon in a weird way. I then distribute on my face. It feels very smooth on my skin. It slowly starts to smell like fresh fruits. It looks very shiny though. I know that moisturizers makes you look greasy but this one looked very greasy.

I will start to do this at the bottom of my reviews where I an overall statement and a pros and cons column.

Middle School Makeup Look

Hi Beautiful! So this is the first year I can wear make-up (YAY) and I have a very simple and affordable make-up look. These will be all products you can buy at the Drug-Store! In will include the prices as well.


First you should apply the Revlon Airbrush Mousse Make-up. This is around $12.99 in most areas. You can just apply a small amount and blend into your skin with your fingers! NO brush required.





   If you want to conceal any blemishes use the Covergirl Concealer. This is light to mild coverage depending on how you apply. This is $4.29 in most areas.  

 For eyeshadow I would use their wet and wild pallets. You apply as showed and they come in sooo many colors! The price is about $2.49

 On to my personal favorite mascara! I recommend any  Maybelline mascara as they are affordable and DO NOT clump. Enough said! They range from $5-7! WOW!!!!

You have heard of this brand and you know you love this brand. They have soooo many wonderful products. ELF- eyes lips and face.You need the blush and bronzer duo. This can be found in Walgreens or at Target. OR online! This can be found for $3.00! This can be compared to the Nars duo!


Lastly for brushes! I recommend the Elf brushes as the range from $1-6

Bath and Body Works Haul!!!!

Hey Guys!! So today is Haul day! I went to Bath and Body works and used a coupon to get a free shower g el!!! I got their fine mist and gel in Honey Sweetheart. It smells very classy and AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay so first off the fine mist in 10$. It comes in a shimmer mist but I could not use my coupon on it. It smells very clean and awesome. It can smells strong at first smell (if that made any sense) but after it smells clean and fruity. I sorta smells like summer/fresh/melon. I love all those things. 


Okay. The shower gel is a total different story. It smells more like Summer  10% Clean 10% and Fruit 80%!!!It smells awesome don't get be wrong but it smells a lot different from the mist. I won this perfume from Tiger Beat/Bop. I will so happy yesterday to recieve this in the mail. I got a full size bottle (3.4 fl oz) and it cost $10.00 to ship. Thanks Tiger Beat and Bop! Okay so I wanted to do a review. 
This perfume smells amazing. It has a very clean scent to it. It smells like fresh air but perfume fresh air if that makes sense. At first sniff it smells very fruity and lasts all day. After a period of time then it turns to fresh air. I think it is great for fall,winter, and spring. Summer it may be a LITTLE heavy it you out on to much. Day 2

So today we have the theme of lipstick. I like to wear a color when I am out and about. So when I go to bed I always but a lot of EOS lipbalm. But anyways so first as a base I use EOS. Then I put on Pink Punch Baby Lips. Next I put on my Aero lip gloss which I got for free!!! I love the Lemon flavor for both EOS and Aero lip gloss. I like a darker color but not always. Beauty Challenge Update Day 1

Okay I am sorry for no post on Sunday or beauty challenge updates. Okay so today's topic is hair care.

Hair Type!
I have curly hair at a medium length. Right now I am growing it out though. I use Honey I'm Strong shampoo and conditioner. I don't really use the same from week to week though. I use Pantene Styling Foam for my moose though.

How I Style!
I wear my hair in a braid to bed or my hair is a curl ball! I wear my hair down sometimes but usually in a big slicked bak ponytail. I like to wear a hair flower from Bath and Body Works. I also wear my top two side pieces pulled back with a small clip.

Overall!
I love my hair but am always looking for a way to curl my hair so it is very tight. I saw something in the new issue of INSTYLE HAIR that I am going to do so comment down below about what products you like and use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I have been looking dor the Lemon Drop flavor of EOS for a while. So I was at Target today and found it!! I found it in the medicine aisle! I know weird right. Bath and Body Works Haul

Hey everyone!!! I have a Bath and Body Works Haul following my Tips and Tricks!!! I will do a review of course but I will explain it but not in detail.

Ok so first I bought Fresh Picked Strawberries Hand Sanitizer. They are on sale right no for 5 for $5. Put I just bought 1. It smells great and feels even better. It really smells like strawberries!!My favorite I have ever tried!!!!


Second of all I bought a PocketBac Holder because how can you have one without one! I bought the beachy theme one. It was super cute!!! I bought it and feel in love with it!!!

Lastly I bought (for a dollar) some body lotion. They always do a sample of a new scent before they mass produce it. So I got thier new Italy scent Rome Honeysuckle Amore. One word: AMAZING!!!

Okay so we all love BBW but you need to know the do's and don'ts. Okay so lets get started.


Do's

• Do bring a coupon and shop on sales
• Do have an idea of what your buying
• Do only buy whta you need
• Do have fun
• Do have a watchful eye for special deals

Don'ts 

• Don't stock up on products even it is a great price because there are always new products coming out
• Don't buy products unless you test them because I HATED sweet pea hand sanitizer but my opinion
• Don't buy just to buy

Review on Harajuku Lovers Perfume

Ok sorry for the late post..... Okay so I found this perfume on clearance at Target for $5.00!!! Yes $5.00! Anyway you can buy this perfume on Amazon or Sephora or anywhere like that.

Scent
It smells amazing which is speaking for all scents! It is a VERY strong scent so one squirt is enough. The only         con about the smell is a LITTLE tangy or sour. It might just be my nose.....

$$$$$$
Okay for $5 it is a bargain. For $25 not so much. I think Ulta sells this online so maybe find a coupon. I love using coupons to get $20 worth of makeup or cosmetics for half!!! It comes with .25 oz so I rather pay $50 for a Taylor Swift perfume.

Overall
I think for a nice light squirt it is fine. It is great for a gym bag just for a light squrit. You don't want to atract bugs.... It would buy again for $5. A young girl would love this as a gift or just as a new perfume. This is not a good perfume for a whole year.

I am always looking for a makeup/oil/dirt remover. Yes to Cucumbers is a branch of Yes to Carrots. Yes to Cucumbers is a wonderful towelette. Okay on to the review..............

It has a nice clean scent. It wakes you right up and has 30 towelettes. You can cut them in half if you are sharing with someone instead of 2 separate towelettes. It is portable and easy to put in a gym bag or a locker. They are one of the best makeup/oil/dirt remover on the market. For $5.00 it is a great buy!!

Sally Hansen Review

Okay a great way to add to an outfit is to paint your nails. But you should know the good and bad kinds sooooooooo lets get on with the review....

Dry Time
It takes about 5 minutes to dry and then you can use your fingers again. It takes about a 10 minutes to do a full dry time.

Colors
Comes in a lot of colors. That also includes clear because you should always coat your nails with clear before you paint with a color

Quality and Overall
It is made wonderfully. It is a nice nail polish I will use often. I think the clear is a way to add a nice clear sheen-ness. They have other types withen Sally Hanson so you should experiment! Thanks for stopping by and remember..whatever can go well will!

Maybelline Baby Lips Review

Okay so as you know I went to Target today. I bought Baby Lips and well ummm just read the review below.....

I bought Twisted and Pink Punch. I love the SCENT of both. Their "Claim to Fame" is softer lips and blah blah blah blah blah. Yeah, that was not what i saw. I love the color on me but not the feeling. It is to last 8 hours. Maybe if you are applying it every 10 minutes!!!! It has a great feeling at first touch but in 30 minutes your lips feel every bit of waxy and dryness. The color seems to say however. I prefer the EOS lip balm but alas, it has no color. It has cute packaging and looks cute but your lips don't feel cute after 30 minutes :) I would buy this product again but not in place of EOS lip balm.

Review on Mia Hair Ties

Mia Hair Ties are a new type of hair tie. It is has an ouchless removal system which is priceless in my opinion. Okay on with the review.

Colors
They come in my colors. They include prints, solids and skin colored ties. They sell in packs of 3 @ Ulta. They sell them other places also.

How They Compare
Other hair ties are not nearly as fashionable. They are perfect for a slight accent to a side braid or side ponytail. 

Overall and Quality
They are made with quality but I have one slight complaint. They can tear the ends. Of course that is after a lot of use but still. They have knock-offs which are made different of course. Thanks for stopping by and remember....what ever can go well will!

Justin Bieber is creates more than just a crowd of screaming girls. He also has his own line of hair mist. I purchased mine at Macy's. You can get yours at Sephora, Dillard's, and online. The price range is about $25.00. Okay so lets get started!

Scent
It smells amazing. If over used of course it will be very strong. Just one squirt ( I know it can be tempting) will do the job.

Looks
It blends in with your hair. THIS IS NOT A HAIRSPRAY. If you use this like a hair spray your hair will look SUPER greasy. Only a hair mist. Just keep that in mind....

Quality and Overall

Pre-Wrap How-To/Review

Pre-wrap if you don't know is a wrap you use (now) ;) for your hair. Okay so you just put your hair in a ponytail and cut a piece of pre-wrap off to just fit around your head. Now tie a knot at the end to secure the headband. It absorbs sweat and looks cute too! You can get pre-wrap at Justice,SportsAuthority or online. I have soccer balls on a pink background and a rainbow one too! Overall, every girl should have a roll of this magical pre-wrap!Comment down below if you have/like pre-wrap! EOS Smooth Sphere Review

This product has brought lips smoothness in times of dry. This is a review on the flavors I have tried. I have tried Honeydew/Honeysuckle,Sweet Mint and Summer Fruit. I am looking forward to trying more flavors.

This smooth sphere has a fruity scent to it. It is lighter than the other flavors I have tried. It is the freshest of all the scents. My dog loves the scent he just wants to kiss me! :-) Overall I think it could be called Spring Fever....or maybe I have Spring Fever! ;)

#2-Sweet Mint

This is not a medicated EOS but it sure could be! It is a nice peppermint scent with a little bit of tingling after applying. A friend of mine has very chapped lips and after the first time applying her lips cleared up. This is my favorite for scented medicated lip balms. I know EOS has a official medicated lip balm but this works too.

#3-Honeydew/Honeysuckle

This is a nice melon scented EOS. This is a nice thicker EOS in my opinion. It has a scent that is not very overpowering. Overall it is be a light lip balm. Nothing to special in my opinion besides the wonderful melon scent. ;)


I love that this product it gluten-free and 95% organic. It is also 100% natural in a unique egg shape. It is totally a lip balm NO ONE will forget.
